Top Notch - A Must for Surgeons!!

This new manual provides guidance to the key elements of surgical standards for oncologic surgery. It is really well organized and written. Each chapter provides a succinct summary of the evidence supporting recommendations. The evidence base for much of what we do as surgeons varies widely, and it is really valuable to have this clear source of the state-of-the art knowledge. The directives are clear, and the illustrations excellent. This will clearly become a standard for all surgeons to use. Highly recommended for practicing surgeons and trainees alike.

It is good resource. Well written with clear reasoning

It is good resource. Well written with clear reasoning. My only criticism is I wish they had chosen melanoma or gastric cancer over lung cancer. As a general surgeon, I don't do major thoracic operations and I suspect most other general surgeons do not either.
